Three to recognize for feats

Over the last few weeks, there were a few recognitions that came to our county.
First, the Frisch’s Big Boy location in Ironton was recognized as Franchise Store of the Year by its parent company.
The restaurant, which opened in 2014 received the designation from both outside inspections, for which it scored highest in the company, and through customer satisfaction surveys.
Then, a team from Yvonne Dekay School of Dance won first place in several divisions of a national competition in June.
Competing in the “That’s Entertainment” 2019 National Dance Competition in Sandusky, they won several first place awards in separate age divisions and categories.
And finally, SERVPRO of Southern Scioto & Lawrence Counties received the MILLIONAIRE’S Bronze award at the company’s 50th Annual Convention.
The convention, which took place in Sacramento, California, was a celebration of the company’s history and a showcase of small business best practices and restoration and remediation technology.
We’d like to take this time to congratulate all three of these recipients for their achievements. It is something everyone in the county can take pride in.
