PINE GROVE — It was “Tee” for Two.
Two ladies who teed off during Tuesday’s weekly Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association notched two wins each.
Hostess Margaret Donley held the morning business meeting and served breakfast treats and then announced the day’s events.
When the golfing was finished and the ladies were settled in to eat lunch, Donley announced the winners.
Of the five events, Pat Riggs and Donley won two events each while Shirley Gleim came away with the other win.
Next week Gleim will hope to have the same success doing double duty like Donley as she serves as hostess. The brief business meeting is at 9 a.m. in the clubhouse at the Ironton Country Club.
Members are reminded that the Ringers’ and Handicap tournaments are still underway.
New members are always welcomed and persons do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the Ladies Nine Hole League and play the nine-hole course in Pine Grove.
