COAL GROVE — The Ohio Valley Conference defending volleyball champions looked very defending.
The Gallipolis Blue Angels down the Coal Grove Lady Hornets in straight sets on Thursday, 25-11, 25-15 and 25-10, an Ohio Valley Conference game on Thursday.
Peri Martin and Abby Hammons each had 10 points to lead Gallipolis.
The Lady Hornets were paced by Rylee Harmon and Addi Dillow with three points and three kills each.
In the jayvee game, Gallipolis won in two sets, 25-14, 25-22.
