Harmon, Murphy key Lady Hornets

COAL GROVE — It was a tough game, so the Coal Grove Lady Hornets got tough.
The Lady Hornets picked up a hard-fought volleyball win on Wednesday by beating the Green Lady Bobcats in three sets, 25-18, 26-24 and 29-27.
Leading the non-conference win for Coal Grove were Kaleigh Murphy and Rylee Harmon. Murphy had 14 points and five kills while Harmon got 10 points, six kills and eight blocks.
Addi Dillow added 11 kills for Coal Grove with Halley Booth getting 16 assists in the winning effort.
In the jayvee game, Coal Grove won in three sets, 14-25, 25-21 and 25-9.
Kennedy Smith has 11 points including eight aces while Amber Schwartz had nine points with five aces to pace the Lady Hornets.
