Lady Flyers fall to Western

The St. Joseph Lady Flyers were missing a few players and it caused their engine to miss on all cylinders.
The Lady Flyers fell in three sets to the Western Lady Indians in a Southern Ohio Conference game on Tuesday, 10-25, 7-25 and 18-25.
Statistic leaders for the Lady Flyers: Emma Whaley had three aces and six digs; Jade Degiorgio three digs; Faith Mahlmeister four kills and three digs; Gracie Damron one kill, one dig; Bella Whaley two block assists and seven digs; Aubrey Sutton two digs and one block assist; and Jadyn Green one ace, three kills, one block assist, four assists and nine digs.
St. Joseph hosts Portsmouth Notre Dame at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
The Lady Flyers’ soccer team visits Rock Hill at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Chesapeake on Monday.
Boys’ soccer hosts St. Patrick at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
