Shoppers in Ironton now have another option for clothing and other items.

The Consignment Barn hosted its grand opening on Friday.

The shop, located at 2026 S. Third St., is owned by Ashley Stephens.

“As a consignment shop, we have a lot of things here,” she said. “Like clothing, shoes, purses.”

She said the store is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturdays, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

“We’re accepting consignments,” she said, adding those with items could call the shop at 740-237-4433. She said the store would also be launching a Facebook page soon.

One of the customers on the first day was Courtney Clark, who shared her thoughts on the new store.

“I’m so glad Ironton has a place like this,” she said. “It’s where you can get designer clothes at a good price.”
