Fire association to host pancake breakfast

SOUTH POINT — A pancake breakfast, set for Saturday, Oct. 5, will help to benefit the South Point Firefighters Association.

Matthew Van Winkle, with the village’s fire department, said the event will start at 7 a.m.

“We’ll go until people stop showing up,” he said.

He said proceeds from the event will help to purchase fire prevention equipment.

The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

The breakfast will take place at the fire station, located at 104 Eisenhower St.
