PROCTORVILLE — There’s a whole lot of defense going on.
For the second straight game, the Rock Hill Redwomen posted a shutout as they beat the Fairland Lady Dragons 3-0 on Tuesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Goalkeeper Grace Stevens had three saves as Fairland managed just five shots. Rock Hill rolled up 37 shots.
Makayla Scott used an assist from Bri Reynolds to score the only goal of the first half at the 37-minute mark.
Ellen Heaberlin gave the Redwomen some breathing room five minutes into the second half with an unassisted goal.
Reynolds then scored with an assist from Lucy Simpson with 50 minutes on the clock.
Rock Hill is 11-1-1 overall while Fairland slips to 6-7.
The Redwomen play at St. Joseph on Wednesday.

Rock Hill 6, Greenup 0
LLOYD, Ky. — This one was good offense and defense.
With five different players scoring and goalie Grace Stevens getting a shutout, the Rock Hill Redwomen blanked the Greenup County Lady Musketeers 6-0 last Thursday.
Bri Reynolds led the Redwomen with two goals and she also had two assists.
Ellen Heaberlin got an unassisted goal just five minutes into the game Rock Hill took it from there.
Reynolds scored with an assist from Makayla Scott and it was 2-0 at the half.
Emma Stevens had an unassisted goal at the 59-minute mark of the second half, Scott then scored with an assist from Reynolds just one minute later, and Reynolds scored three minutes later with an assist from Lucy Simpson.
The final goal came at the 79-minute mark when Simpson score off an assist by Reynolds.
Rock Hill had 34 shots with 22 on goal. Greenup had just two shots, both on goal.
