Rebecca Hieneman

Rebecca Jayne (Becki) Hankins Hieneman, 38, of Ironton, stepped into heaven on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.

The Lawrence County, native was born Aug. 12, 1981, a daughter of Roger and Debra McClaskey Hankins of Ironton. She is also survived by her husband, Charles Christopher Hieneman, who she married Sept. 21, 2001.

Becki was a 1999 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School (Coal Grove), ACTC in Ashland, Kentucky and had received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree (BSN).

She was currently working as a registered nurse for Kings Daughter Medical Center, where she loved to help families with the delivery of their babies. She loved her patients and they loved her. Anyone could call her if they needed advice and she was always happy to help when she could.

She was a light and a ray of sunshine to whomever she met and she will be missed very much.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Raymond Hankins; maternal grandparents, Clifford and Mary Jane Horn McClaskey; uncle, Ronald Hankins; aunt, Joan Estep; and her sister-in-law, Missy Hieneman.

In addition to her husband and parents, Becki is survived by her children, Landon Christopher Hieneman and Debra Madilyn Rene Hieneman; paternal grandmother, Jerri Hackworth Hankins; two brothers, Kristopher Lee (Devonda) Hankins and Jeremy Shayne (Gina) Hankins; six nephews, Curtis (Brooke) Hankins and their son Miles, Garrett Hankins, Wade Hankins, Tristan (Sarah) Hankins, Ethen (Cheyenne) Hankins and Isaac Hankins; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Linda Smith Hieneman, of Greenup, Kentucky; and her maternal grandfather-in-law, Dean Smith.

She was also very close with her first cousin, Josh (Shaine) Estep, as they were raised together like brother and sister.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Rev. Larry Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Hieneman Cemetery in Greenup County, Kentucky. Public visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Richard Hannon

 

Richard Neal Hannon, 36, of Chesapeake, died Thursday Oct. 10, 2019. He is survived by his mother, Betty Hannon. Funeral services were conducted 2 P.M. Monday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home.

Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, assisted the family with arrangements.

Gary Tabor

Gary Lee Tabor, 71 of Hamlin, West Virginia, died Thursday Oct. 10, 2019 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Terry Tabor.

Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, assisted the family with arrangements.

 

 

Varonica Hannon

Varonica Hannon, 50, of Lavalette, West Virginia, died at her residence on Friday Oct. 11, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Hannon.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday with visitation one hour before at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow the service in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller.

David Eagle

David Lee Eagle, 66, of South Point, died in his home Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Eagle.

Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
