The Grayson Gallery & Art Center will present “Funeral Traditions of the South,” a photographic essay designed to document and preserve the diverse heritage of Southern funerals, from 6-8 p.m.

62nd Annual Model Railroad Show

The 62nd Annual Model Railroad Show will take place at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington from 5-8 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults and $1 for children under 12.

Gospel Christmas Song Fest

There will be a Gospel Christmas Song Fest at 6 p.m. at the Ashland Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland, Kentucky, to benefit the Hillcrest-Bruce Mission.

Creek Don’t Rise Concert

Creek Don’t Rise will perform at 8 p.m. at the Port City Pub in Portsmouth.

62nd Annual Model Railroad Show

The Chesapeake Village Council will meet at 7 p.m. at village hall.

South Point Council

The South Point Village Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at village hall.

Horseman Association Meeting

The Lawrence County Horseman Association will meet at 7 p.m. at the EMA building in Ironton. All area horsemen are invited to participate.

Thursday

IHS Class of 1948 Lunch

Ironton High School class of 1948 will meet for lunch at noon at The Depot in Ironton. All classmates and guests are invited.

Hamilton Township Trustees Meeting

The Hamilton Township Trustees meetings will meet at 6 p.m. at the fire station, 1671 County Road. 1A (old 52).

KDH/KDMC Retirees Christmas Party

The KDH/KDMC Retirees and friends will have a Christmas party lunch at noon at the First United Methodist Church (Chocolate Church) building in Ashland, Ky. All food is provided, but snacks are optional to bring. There will be door prizes. Attendees are requested to bring non-perishable food items for the church’s food pantry as well as any items for the Safe Harbor women’s shelter.

The Party Place, Fairytales and Wishing Wells and Kaboom are hosting a Business After Hours vendor show from 5-10 p.m. in support of Ironton’s Business After Hours night.
