SCIOTOVILLE — The Green Lady Bobcats were missing a starter, so it was up to everyone else to pick up the slack.
Kimberly Brown did just that with 10 points while Kasey Kimbler had a game-high 24 points including 10-of-13 at the foul line to give Green a 54-38 Southern Ohio Conference win over the Sciotoville East Lady Tartans on Monday.
Kame Sweeney was also in double digits for Green with 111 points and Brelan Baldridge chipped in 6 points.
East (0-5,0-3) was led by Grace Smith with 15 points and Felicia smith with 13.
Green jumped out quickly to a 16-6 lead as Browns scored 8 of her 10 points and Kimbler had 6 more.
Kimbler scored 9 points in the second quarter including 3-of-4 at the line and Sweeney added 4 points as Green extended its lead to 31-16 at the half.
Grace Smith had 8 of East’s 10 points in the second quarter.
Each team scored 10 points in the third quarter and it was 41-26. Sweeney scored 5 points to keep the lead at 15.
Grace Smith hit a 3-pointer and had 5 points while Felicia Smith scored 4 points for East.
In the fourth quarter, Kimbler was 5-of-6 at the line and scored 7 points. The Lady Bobcats were just 5-of-10 at the line in the quarter.
Felicia Smith had 5 points and Kaci Conley hit a 3-pointer for the Lady Tartans.
