Henry Walk III

Henry E. Walk III, 71, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Walk was born July 5, 1948, in Ironton, a son to the late Henry II and Hatty (Follows) Walk.

Mr. Walk was a 1966 graduate of Symmes Valley High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a government recruit transporter for Highland Express Shuttle Service.

He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed riding four wheelers and motor cycles. He loved his dog, Biscuit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Annalene Bond.

Henry is survived by a son, Dakota (Kassey) Bryant, of Coal Grove; a granddaughter, Torah Bryant, of Coal Grove; a sister, Patricia (Jeff) Baker, of Gallipolis; and four nieces and nephews, David (Jackie) Bond, Shawna (Greg) Bond Vincent, Teresa Baker and Scott Baker.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with the Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, with military graveside rites provided by VFW Post #8850. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Roy Lee Black, 56, of Chesapeake, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

Sharon Ann Prince Black, 78, of Proctorville, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at home.

Funeral service will be conducted noon Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.

Karnell “Kitty” Ondrus, 96, of Ironton, died peacefully, Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at her residence.

Graveside service will be noon Thursday at Woodland Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
