The New Boston Lady Tigers unleased some offensive firepower in the first half as they built a 22-point lead and went on to beat the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings 69-46 in a Southern Ohio Conference on Monday.
New Boston (10-4, 7-1) jumped out to a 24-9 first quarter lead as Sammy Oiler had 7 points, Kenzie Whitley scored 6 points and Lexus Oiler had 5 more.
Taylor Sells hit a 3-pointer and scored 5 points for the Lady Vikings (3-9, 2-6).
Oiler hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 points and Shelby Easter added 6 more as the Lady Tigers increased their lead to 46-24 at the half.
Sells hit two more trifectas and scored 8 points while Rachael Hayes hit a trey and had 4 points for the Lady Vikings in the quarter.
The lead grew to 58-32 in the third quarter as New Boston outscored Symmes Valley 12-8. Hailee Littlejohn and Spring Ross had 4 points each for the Lady Vikings.
Ross had 4 more points and Hayes hit a triple as the Lady Vikings outscored New Boston 12-11 in the fourth quarter.
Sammy Oiler had 8 points as she and Whitley each hit a 3-pointer for New Boston.
Sells had 15 points and 5 rebounds for the Lady Vikings. Hayes and Littlejohn added 9 points each.
Lexus Oiler scored 20 points, Sammy Oiler 18 and Easter 13 for New Boston.
On Thursday, Symmes Valley entertains Western on Thursday.
