— The Community of Christ will have a one-day Life (Leading Intentionally for Eternity) Leadership workshop from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Jan. 25. The workshop will focus on your aspirational ambitions and equipping area leaders to serve the community. The speaker will be Marcus Williams, PT, DPT, MBA, who is from Ironton. Cost is $20. — First Southern Baptist Church is inviting all men in the Tri-State area to a men’s prayer breakfast at 9 a.m., Saturday Feb. 8. The church is located at 110 Collins Avenue, South Point. Afterwards, there will be a message by Pastor Stanley McDonald, of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Ashland Kentucky. — The Community of Christ invites everyone to attend Peacekeepers on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in the fellowship hall. There will be a meal, a lesson and an activity. The church’s worship schedule is Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. It is located at 308 Ellison St., Ironton.

— Ironton First Church of the Nazarene hosts open 12-step meetings at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays. Please enter via the Pleasant Street entrance or through the back door.

— South Point Christian Church has a food pantry on the last Thursday of each month with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. All families in need are welcome.

— Christian Faith Outreach, a Pentecostal church in South Point, hosts church services in the banquet room at Southern Hills Inn every Sunday at 7 p.m., with prayer at 6:30 p.m. Bible study takes place on Tuesdays at South Point Giovanni’s at 7 p.m. A Family Fun Night is held monthly. Pastor is Ricky Jenkins.

— Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, located at the corner of South Fourth and Mulberry streets in Ironton, has Sunday school at 9 a.m., Sunday morning worship service at 10:45 a.m. and Sunday Bible studies at noon and 7 p.m.
