Harry Mulkey

Oct. 18, 1941 — Feb. 5, 2020

Harry Lowell Mulkey, 78, of Ironton, passed away Feb. 5, 2020 at Our Lady of Bellefonte, Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born Oct. 18, 1941 in Hanging Rock, son of the late John Ballard Mulkey and Imogene Stewart Mulkey Higgins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Nicholi Suttles; one brother, Ralph Delmar Mulkey; and one sister-in-law, Emma Mulkey.

Harry was the owner/operator of a truck and auto repair business, also an over the road truck driver for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Chaffins Mulkey; three children, Deborah (David) Arms, Angela Mulkey and David (Melody) Mulkey, all of Ironton; two sisters, Joyce Estes, of Ironton, and Donna (Dwight) Stephens, of Lithia, Florida; three brothers, Ballard Cicel (Huck) Mulkey, of South Vienna, Gerald “Jerry” (Nancy) Mulkey, of Bucyrus, and Ronald (Linda) Chaffins, of Pedro; one sister-in-law, Genevieve Mulkey, of Ironton; four grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Suttles, of Ironton, Josie (Dustin) Christian, of Willow Wood, Joseph Fisher and Michael Shope, both of Ironton; six great grandchildren, Aiden Suttles, Allison Suttles, Eli Suttles, Arionah Suttles, all of Ironton, Bentley Newcomb and Ellie Fisher, both of Willow Wood, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be noon Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Brother Paul Toney, Jr. and Pastor Aaron Abner officiating. Burial will follow at Haverhill Cemetery, Haverhill. Friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.

Ronnie Cade

Ronnie Eugene Cade, 59, of Pedro, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Ann (Lewis) Cade.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastor Clyde Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Slab Fork Cemetery, and visitation will be

Barbara Williams

Barbara Williams, 82, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 at Heartland at Riverview, South Point.

Funeral service will at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Roger Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
