ASHLAND, Ky. — Instantly borrow free digital movies, music, comics and more with the hoopla app and a library card from the Boyd County Public Library.
hoopla is the leading all-in-one digital library app with over 800,000 titles — from best-selling novels and blockbuster movies to niche, hard-to-find content and language learning collections. A library card gives patrons free 24/7 access to television shows, movies, music, ebooks, audiobooks and comics without the worry of late fees.
“hoopla allows patrons to take the library with them wherever they go — or even without leaving their homes. It’s like having the library at their fingertips — anytime, anywhere,” said Library Director Debbie Cosper. “They can instantly stream content or download for offline reading, watching and listening.”
Content synchronizes across a wide range of devices so borrowers never lose their place.
BCPL cardholders can “checkout” up to 15 hoopla items per month. hoopla Kids mode provides a kid-friendly setting for finding videos, music and books.
The hoopla app is easily accessible on Google Play, the App Store and Amazon or access on desktop at https://www.hoopladigital.com.
The library is open seven days a week and offers free resources, programs and events enabling people of any income level to participate and attend. For more information, contact the Boyd County Public Library at 606-329-0090 or visit one of the branches.
