— Former workers of the Kresge store in Ironton are sought for a reunion, set for 5 p.m. on March 20 at Frisch’s Big Boy in Ironton. Those who were employed at the store are asked to call Sue Lunsford at 740-532-5689 for more information.
— Ohio’s annual church bus and motor coach inspection/registrations expire on May 31. Any southern Ohio churches or motor coach companies in need of annual bus inspections can call the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 740-286-3457 to schedule an inspection.
— Symmes Township’s 2019 financial report is complete and is available for viewing by contacting the fiscal officer.
— Washington Township’s 2019 financial report is complete and is available for viewing by contacting fiscal officer, Katie Lewis.
—The Cash Basis Annual Financial Report of the Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District for 2019 has been completed. The report is available for inspection at the Lawrence SWCD Office, 5459 State Route 217, Willow Wood.
— Village of Athalia’s 2019 annual financial report has been completed and is on file. It is ready for public viewing by making an appointment with the village clerk/treasurer.
— If you are planning a project that will result in the discharge of dredge or fill material into a lake, stream and/or wetland, you may need a permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Ohio EPA. Join Rachel Taulbee from the Ohio EPA to learn more about the requirements on Tuesday, March 17 at the Joint Response Operations Center, 715 Lane St., Coal Grove, from 10 a.m.-noon. — The Windsor Township Trustees will meet at 7 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the Windsor Township Hall.
— The Ladies 9-Hole Golf Association meets at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays at the Ironton Country Club, with play at 10 a.m.
— Ironton First Church of the Nazarene has an open 12-step meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays. Please enter via the Pleasant Street entrance or the back door.
— The Aid Township Trustees year-end financial report is complete and on file. It is ready for public viewing at the fiscal officer’s home.
— The Aid Township Trustees will hold their regular monthly meetings at 8 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month at the Aid Volunteer Fire Department.
— The Village of Coal Grove’s annual financial report for 2019 is complete and ready for viewing, during regular business hours, in the fiscal officer’s office at Coal Grove Town Hall, 513 Carlton Davidson Lane, Coal Grove.
— The draft statement ending June 30, 2019, has been completed and is available for public inspection at the Ironton City Board of Education office, 105 S. Fifth St., Ironton. Office hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
— Upper Township 2019 annual financial report is complete and available for viewing at the township office by contacting Tyler Walters, fiscal officer at 740-532-8551.
— Upper Township Trustees regularly scheduled meetings for 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at the township firehouse.
