Raymond Dillon

Raymond Paskell Dillon, 82, of South Point, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton.

He was born May 13, 1937 in Willow Wood, a son of the late Rev. Raymond Dillon and Grace Riggle Dillon.

He worked at Aid Feed and Supply until 1965, when he began working at Dayton Malleable in Ironton. He was a forklift operator until he retired in 2000.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 64 years, Vera Ann Shafer Dillon, whom he married in July, 1955; a daughter, Carol Spurlock (Fred Craft Jr.), of South Point; a grandson, Jason Sayre (Kelsie), of South Point; a great-grandson, Oliver Paskell Sayre, of South Point; a step-great-grandson, Emmitt Kuehne, of South Point; and a sister, Lorraine Augerbright (Earl), of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Private family services will be held at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial will be in Aid Cemetery, Willow Wood.
