WILLOW WOOD — When students return to Symmes Valley schools this fall, there will see changes in the leadership positions there.

Greg Bowman has taken the position of superintendent, after previously serving as high school principal. This change took effect June 1, school board president Derek Wilson said.

His predecessor, Darrell Humphreys, will be taking Bowman’s old job and will serve as the high school’s principal.

Also at the June 1 meeting, the board accepted the resignation of elementary school principal Eric Holmes, Wilson said.

On Tuesday, Brandon Walker, the elementary school’s assistant principal, was promoted to serve as principal.

Wilson said the assistant principal position at the elementary school has not been filled.
