PORTSMOUTH — A couple of one-loss teams met on Saturday as the Mason County Lady Royals visited the Portsmouth Lady Trojans.

Portsmouth made it known early that the Lady Trojans weren’t getting their second loss on this day as they rolled the Lady Royals 60-25.

Daysha Reid drained a pair of 3-pointers and scored 8 points, Sienna Allen hit a trend scored 5 points and Hayven Carter added 4 points as Portsmouth leaped to a 21-4 first quarter lead.

Keke Woods and Allen scored 6 points each as the lead ballooned to 44-12 at the half.

Reid had a trifecta and Allen 4 points as Portsmouth outscored Mason County 11-7 in the third quarter to lead 55-19.

Allen led Portsmouth (6-1) with 15 points while Reid scored 12 and Woods 10.

Carlee Buttery had 7 points for the Lady Royals.
