Daniel Barnett

Daniel (Danny) Lee Barnett, of Plain City, passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024.

Danny was a proud Marine Corps veteran who was stationed in Okinawa and bravely served his country during the Vietnam War.

Danny was a complex man who spent the latter half of his life doing what he could to better himself and improve his relationships, but we all knew that he loved his family with all of his heart and soul and that we loved him as well.

Danny was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Marie Barnett (27); and succeeded by his son, James Daniel Ray Barnett (47); daughter, Amanda Marissa Jenae Roberts (44); granddaughter, Haleigh Elizabeth Roush (23); grandson, Jordan Lee Roush (21); son, Kevin Ray Barnett (35); granddaughter, Brooklyn Ann Barnett (15); granddaughter, Maci Cole Barnett (11); grandson, Hunter Ray Barnett (8); and granddaughter, Austyn Rae Barnett (2).

Danny’s remains will be laid to rest at the Pine Grove Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at noon followed by a memorial service at the Coal Grove Betterment Club that same day.
