The Lawrence County Quiz Bowl Tournament took place on Thursday at Ohio University Southern and Ironton High School had as good of a day as possible at the event.

The team went undefeated throughout the double elimination tournament, which meant, when they faced Dawson-Bryant High School in the event’s final match, they only needed to win once to become champions for the day.

In the first round of that event, Ironton amassed a lead of 32-55, answering questions from math, science, literature, current events and other topics.
