During the past four seasons, the Fairland Lady Dragons posted an impressive 97-9 record with 4 Ohio Valley Conference championships and 2 Final Four appearances.

But it’s easy to understand their success when looking at the Ohio Sports Writers Division 2 All-Ohio basketball team.

The senior duo of 6-foot Bree Allen and 5-11 Kylee Bruce were joined on the All-Ohio team by a pair of sophomores, 5-9 Bailey Russell and 6-foot Addison Godby.

Allen was the Southeast District Co-Player of the Year and landed on the first team as she averaged 15.9 points a game along with 7.2 rebounds. The Tiffin recruit ended her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer.

Bruce was named to the third team after getting first team all-district honors. Bruce averaged 10.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and has signed with Malone College.

Russell and Godby were both second team all-district and were named to the All-Ohio honorable mention list.

Russell led the team with a 17.2 scoring average and was the team’s best 3-point shooter. Godby averaged 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.5 steals a game and was the team’s best defender.
