Linda Jenkins

Feb. 21, 1955–April 5, 2024

Linda Joyce Jenkins, of Franklin Furnace, entered the gates of Heaven, at age 69, on April 5, 2024, after battling with deteriorating health issues over the last year. Linda was born on Feb. 21, 1955 in Ironton, to the parents of Corbit Brown and Verna (Cockran) Brown.

She was a graduate of Green High School in Franklin Furnace.

She later met and married her soul mate, Paul David “Dave” Jenkins on May 8, 1976.

Together, they raised two children that they loved fiercely, Brian David Jenkins and Kimberly Dawn (Jenkins) Hensley.

She was a supportive and loving wife, a caring and compassionate mother, an expert crafter, a beloved Mamaw, and a homemaker. She was incredibly loved and will be missed dearly by her family.

She leaves behind her sister Shirley Stevens of Lucasville, her sister Teresa Jenkins, of Franklin Furnace, and her brother Mike Brown (Lisa), of Wheelersburg. She also leaves behind a daughter, Kimberly Hensley (Richard), and a granddaughter, Zoey Noel Hensley (that she thought the world of) as well as many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, by 20 years as well as both her

parents. She was also preceded in death by her son, Brian, by only three and a half months.

Our hearts are hurting but we know you are no longer suffering and you have rejoined your loved ones that have gone on before you.

I love you Mama, now and always.
