Tim Turley

March 27, 1932–April 19, 2024

 

Tim Turley, 92, of Pedro, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born March 27, 1932, in Burlington, a son of the late Linzy Turley and Garnet Whisman Turley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Runyon Turley; three brothers, George Turley, Joe Turley and Donald Turley; and three sisters, Betty Hamilton, Patty Scott and Mary Turley.

Tim is survived by his four children, Deborah (Rick) Morgan, of Ironton; Brenda (George) Cade, of Pedro; Danny (Pamela) Turley, of Washington Court House; and Timothy (Ruthie) Turley, of Ironton; eleven grandchildren, Rickie Morgan, Jennifer Wilds, Donna Morgan, Kevin Cade, Emily Jenkins, Kelli Elder, Scott Turley, Vicki Majors, David Turley, Austin Turley, Kenny Browning; eighteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wallace Family Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Kelly Stapleton officiating.

Burial will follow at Lawrence Furnace Cemetery, Pedro.

Family and friends are welcome to visit two hours before the service from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., a time for shared memories and support.
