Ironton In Bloom cleans out planters for this year’s efforts
With spring in swing, Ironton In Bloom is preparing for their annual beautification efforts around the city.
On Friday, volunteers, including a group from the city’s Be Hope Church, went around downtown, clearing out the group’s planters.
With that task completed, Ironton In Bloom will plant new flowers, as they do each year, in those locations.
Sue Lunsford, of Ironton In Bloom, said the nonprofit is in need of more volunteers and members and encouraged the public to get involved in their efforts.
