Lawrence County will be celebrating National Day of Prayer at noon on Thursday on the steps of the Lawrence County Courthouse.

This year’s theme is “Lift up the Word, Light up the world.”

The event promotes the seven pillars of prayer focusing on government, military, media, business, education, church and family.
