James Garland Smith, 99, of Chesapeake, died Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Legacy of Riverview in South Point.

Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Williamson, West Virginia.

Visitation will be 10 a.m.–noon Saturday at the funeral home.
