Billy Mays

Billy Ray Mays, 73, of Kitts Hill, died, Tuesday, May 1, 2024, surrounded by his family after a seven-year battle with ALS.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Ann (Griffith) Mays.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Kitts Hill, with Pastor Mike Long, Pastor Roger Colegrove and Brother Eric Bailey officiating.

Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery in Kitts Hill, with Military Rites provided by the Russell ROTC.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5–7 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton.
