Trouble – Frog Town, 2500 block of South Third Street, 12:55 a.m. Wednesday – Boyd County 911 reports receiving three hang up calls and hearing people yelling. Punches reportedly thrown but people went separate ways.

Assault – 2800 block of South Sixth Street, 2:29 a.m. Wednesday, man reports he and his wife were assaulted at Frog Town. Obtained a statement.

Theft – 3000 block of South Fourth Street, 9:21 a.m. Wednesday, tools reportedly stolen.

Trouble – 1300 block of South First Street, 12:29 p.m. Wednesday, man reportedly busted window.

Shoplifting – Dollar General 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, male and female reportedly shoplifting. Summons in lieu issued.

Vandalism – 2200 block of North Fifth Street, 6:01 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports van was vandalized. Information for report.

Shots fired – 1200 block of South Tenth Street, 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, man reports sounds like shots being fired. Negative contact, checked area.

Identity theft – Township Road 1153, South Point, Aug. 3, man reports his identity was stolen and accounts were opened in his name without permission.

Breaking and entering – 900 block of Township Road 78W., Willow Wood, Aug. 31, woman reports vacant house was broken into, tools stolen.

Breaking and entering – 5600 block of State Route 217, Willow Wood, Sept. 2, man reports several items taken from property.

Theft – 200 block of County Road 276 S., South Point, reported Sept. 2, woman reports last month her government assistance card was taken and used.

Domestic violence – County Road 1 Perry Township fire department Wednesday, woman reports man grabbed her arm, acted like he was going to hit her but did not hit her. Jeremy Baker, 70 Private Road 302 Room 216, South Point, arrested.

Abandoning animals – 23200 block of State Route 141, Waterloo Saturday, man allegedly dropped off six beagle puppies at the residence of a dog warden. Earl McFann, 52, of 327 Township Road 169, Pedro, arrested for abandoning animals.

Domestic violence – Private Road 5350 County Road 15, South Point Wednesday, man reportedly hit woman twice in the face. Suspect named.

Telephone harassment – 9300 block of County Road 1, South Point, Monday, woman reports ex-husband keeps calling and texting her. Suspect named.
