Assault, obstructing justice — Private Drive 208, Proctorville Monday, man reportedly assaulted twice, once with ballbat, suspects reportedly confronted, told deputies one version of events and then changed story, Christopher A. Smith, 20, 104 N. Jones St., Proctorville, charged with assault, Robert A. Belle, 26, 10 Private Drive 208, charged with felonious assault, both charged with obstructing justice.

Assault— County Road 123, Chesapeake Monday, man reportedly tried to strike another man with vehicle, suspect named, located, denied incident.

Domestic— Township Road 1367, South Point Monday, woman reportedly slapped, child injured during argument, suspect named.

Drug paraphernalia— Fayette Township Monday, drug instruments confiscated during arrests for parole violation, Scott Moore, 26, and Andrew Moore, 29, both of 107 Mann St., South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Assault— Union Township Tuesday, woman reportedly slapped several times in face, Brandi Ferguson, 25, 167 Township Road 1007, Chesapeake, arrested later and taken to jail.

Domestic — Union Township Thursday, woman reportedly injured during argument, female juvenile suspect named.

Domestic— Rome Township Thursday, woman reportedly threatened, grabbed by hand, Jason Ratcliff, 32, 34 Private Drive 235, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.
