FINDLAY — Tony Brown and Jeff Kerns headed South as they began their trip home to Ironton.

Their golf game had already left in that direction.

Both men struggled on the second day of the 102nd Ohio Amateur at the Findlay Country Club and failed to make the final cut.

Brown shot a 74 and Kerns a 77 on Tuesday, but they each shot an 84 Wednesday over the 6,714-yard, Par 71 course.

Brown had a final 157 total and Kerns 161. The score to qualify for the final two days was 152.

Ethan Tracy of Hilliard shot a 69 to give him a two-day total of 136 to lead the tournament.
