CHESAPEAKE — There will be a number of new features as the village of Chesapeake celebrates the annual Octoberfest this Saturday.

This year will be the inaugural Corn Hole Tournament that will offer a cash prize and a community yard sale at the medical center across from Triangle Park.

Also new will be the Chesapeake volunteer fire department giving a demonstration on how to extricate passengers trapped in a vehicle and a hot dog eating contest sponsored by C&S Sandwich Shop.
