Ironton police

Woman down — Alley behind Boomers, South Third Street, 12:41 a.m. Sunday, taken to hospital.

Domestic — Fifth and Etna streets, 1:48 a.m. Sunday, no room in jail, man and woman agreed to separate, man is leaving for evening.

Domestic — 600 block Cliff Street, 1:50 a.m. Sunday, sisters arguing, agreed to calm down for the night.

Domestic — Fifth and Etna streets, 2:12 a.m. Sunday, another couple arguing, left prior to officers’ arrival.

Fight — Shenanigan’s 2:21 a.m. Sunday, place cleared out prior to officers’ arrival.

Fire — 900 block Pine Street, 6:04 a.m. Sunday.

Theft — 600 block Center Street, 7:20 a.m. Sunday, vehicle entered, items taken.

Man with gun — Seventh and Vernon streets, 6:23 p.m. Sunday, man allegedly walking around with pistol in hand, located, Brent T. Ervin, 24, 520 Etna St., Ironton, charged with using a weapon while intoxicated, aggravated menacing, taken to jail.

Vandalism — 1520 N. Second St., 7:23 p.m. Sunday, two vehicles damaged.

Theft — Reported at police station, 9:16 a.m. Monday, items taken from vehicle, suspect named.

Road rage — Fifth and Spruce streets, 12:48 p.m. Monday, suspect driving red Ford, license plate given.

Trouble — 500 block Washington Street, 9:51 p.m. Monday, female possibly threatened.

Suspicious person — 200 block Rose Street, 11:21 p.m. Monday, man reportedly refusing to leave another person’s driveway, negative contact.

— Jessica L. Clark, 24, Huntington, W.Va., criminal trespass, petty theft Sunday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Christopher McCallister, 34, 77 Township Road 132, South Point, domestic violence Saturday by the Coal Grove Police Department.

— Matt E. McFann, 25, 369 County Road 169, Pedro, failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer, DUI Sunday by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

— Charles A. Pinkerman, homeless, disorderly conduct Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Chester Wise, 33, 38 Township Road 1022, South Point outstanding warrant Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Gregory C. Cox Sr., 50, 4706 State Route 93, Pedro, outstanding warrants Sunday by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

— Clyde A. Stiltner, 37, 3919 County Road 1, South Point, domestic violence Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office

Petty theft — 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, 3:41 p.m. Friday, man allegedly walked out of Walmart without paying for a Superman ball cap. Billy Booth Jr., 25, of 429 County Road 411, Proctorville, arrested and taken to county jail.

Prostitution, possession of marijuana — Grandview Inn, South Point, 11:41 p.m. Friday, resident called sheriff’s office and reported a woman resident allegedly solicited sex to him. Nicole R. Meade, 33, of 313 Grandview Inn, South Point arrested and taken to county jail and admitted to being positive for hepatitis C.

Breaking and entering — 400 block of County Road 52, Perry Township, 3:32 p.m. Friday, woman reported items stolen from her doublewide, which is in the process of being relocated. Shotgun, jewelry, dishtowels and TV among items taken.

Intimidation, open burning — 7000 block of County Road 1, South Point, 2:37 a.m., Saturday, man allegedly set piece of furniture on fire and allegedly threatened to kill the responding Fayette Township firefighter. Paul. D. Brown, 35, of 92 Township Road 1018, South Point, arrested and taken to county jail.

Domestic Violence — 200 block of Township Road 1430, South Point, 10:16 p.m. Saturday, man reported live-in girlfriend allegedly threw his property outside their apartment and shoved his head against the outside of the building while he was gathering his things. Subject left and not located at the time of the report.

Aggravated menacing — 2000 block of Township Road 179, Ironton, 12:12 p.m. Sunday, man alleged uncle attempted to assault him and struck the windshield of his vehicle and waved a gun at him.

Petty Theft — 3000 block of County Road 64, Willow Wood, 11 a.m. Sunday, couple reported they applied for a loan through an online site and the site told them to purchase a prepaid card in the amount of $25 and the loan would be deposited on the card. The card was then cancelled and a refund check had been issued to someone in Windom, Ohio. Investigation is pending.
