Jane Craig

Jane M. Craig, 83, of Ironton and a resident of Kingsbrook Lifecare Center, passed away Monday, Oct.31, 2011.

The Portsmouth native was born Nov.15, 1927, the daughter of the late Cliff H. and Sadie Murfin. She is survived by her husband, Dick Craig of Ironton.

Jane was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Murfin.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Susan of Ironton and Nancy of Portsmouth; a granddaughter, Stephanie of Ironton; three great grandchildren, Rilee, Delanee, and Brenner all of Ironton and a sister, Karen of Columbus.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Cemetery with the chaplain at Kingsbrook Lifecenter, Dr. Dale Maddy officiating. There will be no public visitation. Evelyn Ramey

PROCTORVILLE — Evelyn Ramey, 84, of Proctorville, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. She was the wife of Leon Ramey, who survives.
