ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP — Santa Claus will pay an early visit to Rock Hill High School Saturday. While little ones can bring that all-important list, adults can feel good knowing the money raised will go to help other families have a Merry Christmas.

The visit is the work of the National Honor Society. Adviser Krista Hayes said the proceeds will go to The Big Cover Up, a program in the school district to purchase clothing for needy children.

Hayes said the honor society hopes to raise $7,000 to help 50 children at the elementary school.

“We want to buy each of them a coat, tennis shoes, an outfit of clothes, socks, a hat, gloves and a scarf and a toy,” Hayes said.

She said honor society students will ask local stores for donations and she hopes private individuals will donate as well. Inquiries about donations may be sent to Hayes at khayes@rockhill.org.

The hours Saturday are 8 – 11 a.m. The menu is scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, gravy and waffles. The cost is $5.

This is the second year for the Breakfast With Santa.
