PROCTORVILLE - Stuffy's Pizza & Play in Proctorville tries to offer the entire family dinner, dessert and a lot of fun.

Stuffy's Pizza and Dairy Queen are located on ByPass Road, off of the 31st Street Bridge in Proctorville.

The business opened in October of last year. Operator Jeff Jones said that there was a need for a family place and a place for youth to go.

"We just needed something like this in Proctorville," Jones said. "A place for the kids to go."

Stuffy's and Dairy Queen are in the same building, the large room in between is a game room, complete with tickets and prizes. Both Stuffy's and Dairy Queen are managed by Lisa Jenkins. The game room, provides a wide array of dinner choices, and a short walk to desert at Dairy Queen, makes a one-stop family outing.

"I have a 4-year-old, she likes the stuff here," customer Lisa Galloway said. "She likes the pizza too."

Galloway said she brings her daughter Haydyn in a lot. Galloway said her sister and her family also enjoy visiting the restaurant. On Wednesday, the family had enjoyed their lunch outside and Galloway said it was great.

"It's just something fun for people here to do," she said.

Jones said families can also book birthday parties at Stuffy's Pizza.

The business has a birthday pack, for $55 customers receive four pizzas, two pitchers of pop and 44 tokens for the game room.

"We book a lot of parties," Jones said.

Both have daily specials with different specials each week. Customers can also get the "Big Stuff" - a 29-inch cheese pizza, to feed even the hungriest of groups. The lunch special at Stuffy's includes a slice of pizza, a bag of chips and a 16 oz. drink, for $2.99.

"We try to do our best and satisfy our customers so they keep coming back," shift manager Shawn Adkins said.

Stuffy's Pizza is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. They have dine-in, pick up and delivery.

The phone number is (740) 886-7660.

"We're kid friendly," Jones said. "We want a place for families to come."
