Ghost hunt set for Chesy center

CHESAPEAKE — Quest Paranormal will host a February ghost hunt at the Chesapeake Community Center.

The center has been the site for October paranormal searches for the past three years with some investigators reporting findings of unusual activity. Before the circa 1920 site became a community center, it was a school in the Chesapeake district.

The ghost hunts are fundraisers for the center, which is in the midst of an extensive renovation project.

Next month’s hunt will be Saturday, Feb. 4 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Cost is $10 per person. The hunt will begin with guided tours of the building with participants allowed to go through the building a second time by themselves.

No one under 15 can participate without prior approval and those under 18 must have their parents sign waivers before the hunt.
