Ironton police

Suspicious person — 500 block South Eighth Street, 2:26 a.m. Friday, someone trying to get in front door, occupant pounded on door and suspect fled, marks found on door indicated entry attempted.

House broke into — 1300 block South Eighth Street, noon Friday, air conditioner taken, furnace dismantled, parts taken.

Assault — Lawrence County Dog Pound, 1302 Adams Lane, 3:24 p.m. Friday, female worker assaulted.

Breaking and entering — 1500 block South Second Street, 5:48 p.m. Friday, TV taken.

Attempted breaking and entering — Weber’s Florist. 1500 block South Sixth Street, 9:39 a.m. Saturday.

Trouble — 200 block Vernon Street, 3:22 p.m. Saturday, child jumped by four other boys, subjects left prior to officers’ arrival, victim declined to file charges.

Breaking and entering — 900 block Vine Street, 7:05 p.m. Saturday, weed eater and leak flower taken.

Burglary — 800 block South Eighth Street, 6:28 p.m. Saturday, jewelry and pocket change taken.

Threats — Reported at police station 8:25 p.m. Saturday, woman reportedly threatened by another woman.

Trouble — 200 block Vernon Street, 8:36 p.m. Saturday, someone banging on door, left prior to officer’s arrival, occupant advised.

Vandalism — 300 block Vine Street, 2:59 a.m. Sunday, brick thrown through window.

Breaking and entering — Sherman Thompson Towers Sunday, purse and medication taken, purse later recovered minus money and medication.

Kids with BB guns — Reported at police station Sunday, child shot by two other children with BB guns, residence in 300 block Pine Street visited by officer who took the airsoft BB guns for safe keeping.

Trouble — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue Sunday, customer causing disturbance.

Assist EMS — 1800 block South Eighth Street Sunday, assistance needed with violent psychiatric patient, patient refused transportation to hospital.

— Paul L. Walker Jr., 21, 715 Marion Pike, Coal Grove, outstanding warrant Thursday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Jon B. Elliott, 32, 248 Springdale Ave., Huntington, W.Va., outstanding warrant Thursday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
