The Ironton Little League will hold opening day Saturday with Ironton boys and girls head basketball coaches Roger Zornes and Amy Hughes throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

Teams will report to their respective fields at 8:45 a.m. for team photographs, and opening day ceremonies will get underway at 9:15 with introduction of players and coaches for little league boys, little league girls and minor league teams. The first pitch at 9:30 a.m. will be made by Zornes and Hughes who coached their teams to the state tournament this past March.

With the early start, the concession stand will feature breakfast foods such as donuts, cinnamon rolls and french toast sticks.

Here is the game schedule:

10 a.m. – Reds vs. Mets (boys LL) and Reds vs. Angels (girls LL).

10:30 a.m. – Cubs vs. White Sox (ML).

12:30 p.m. – Yankees vs. Cubs (boys LL) and Astros vs. Red Sox (ML).
