MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Cincinnati scored six runs and had six of its seven hits in the first two innings to defeat Toronto 6-2 on Friday.

Danny Graves (2-0) started for Cincinnati and was credited with the win, even though he only pitched the first inning.

Five relievers pitched one inning each. Steve Kelly took over in the sixth and allowed one run in three innings.

Cincinnati scored five runs off losing pitcher Pete Walker (1-1) in the first inning. Joe Randa and D'Angelo Jimenez hit RBI singles, Sean Casey had an RBI double and Austin Kearns and Rich Aurilia added ground outs. Toronto shortstop Russ Adams also committed two throwing errors.

Walker also allowed a triple by Kearns and Adam Dunn's RBI single in the second inning.

Brandon League followed Walker with three hitless innings, as the Reds pulled their starters from the game.

Scott Schoenweiss pitched two scoreless innings for Toronto and closer Miguel Batista finished with a scoreless ninth inning.

Vernon Wells doubled home Frank Catalanotto, who doubled one out earlier off David Weathers. Gabe Gross hit an RBI single off Kelly to score Gregg Zaun.
