Juanita Baker

Juanita Elizabeth Baker, 86, of Ironton died on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Best Care Nursing Home, Wheelersburg. She was the wife of the late Clarence Joseph Baker. She was born March 7, 1926, in Mexia, Texas, to the late Rufus Cordre and Mary Jane Horne Cordre. She was a retired LPN. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane Wilson Ford and Darrell Ford; two grandchildren, Stephen (Diantha) Ford and Tonya Ford (Brian) Renner, of Chillicothe; five great grandchildren, Karlee Renner, Zachary Downs, Corbin Ford, Jarren Ford, and Britton Ford; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by sisters, Virginia (Don) Spillers, Margaret (Pete) Glass, Redell (Bud) McDonald and stepsisters, Thelma Cordre and Mary Cordre. A memorial service will be held Saturday at Trinity Assembly of God. Melissa Curtis

Melissa Diane Curtis, 32, of South Point, Ohio died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, at Christ Temple Church, Huntington, W.Va., with Pastor Gary Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington 37 Cemetery. James David Pack, 53, of Flatwoods, Ky., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Mike Moore and Brother Jim Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Palmer Cemetery in Flatwoods.
