OME TOWNSHIP — Three are dead following a one-vehicle crash on County Road 12 in Rome Township.

At approximately 8 p.m. Sunday, a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee failed to make a curve on Big Paddy Road, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The accident happened four miles north of County Road 411.

The driver and two passengers were pronounced dead by the county coroner’s office, the release said. Their names have not been released pending notification of the families.
