LAVALETTE, W.Va. — The Wayne Pioneers slipped past the South Point Pointers in a duel golf match on Wednesday at Sugarwood Golf Course.

Wayne had a 2-3 score while the Pointers finished with a 214 total.

Madison Riley led the Pointers as she carded a 50. Caleb Jones was just one shot back with a 51 followed by Kyle Goodson with a 55, Austin Wellman 58 and Barbara Collins had a 66.

Wayne’s Justin Crockett took medalist honors with a 45. Austin Castle had a 48, Brett Justice 54, Ryan Mills 56, Zach Prestar 58 and Brooke Smith shot a 64.
