Jan 21, 1931-June 6, 2002 Delores Lewis, 71, of Ironton died Thursday at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.

The Ironton native was born Jan. 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Harrison and Julia Belford Ferguson.

She was the wife of Edward Lewis, who survives.

She was a cook.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Sue Bowman; and 16 brothers and sisters.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one son, James Bowman of Ironton; one daughter, Janie Morrison of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two step sons, Edward Lewis Jr. and Jeff Lewis, both of Ironton; one step daughter, Linda Fox of Hecla; three brothers, Richard Ferguson and George Ferguson, both of Mansfield, and Ron Ferguson of Covington, Ky.; and two sisters, Pat Rufrano of Orlando, Fla., and Lucille Dodson of Hanging Rock.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hecla Cemetery, with the Rev. Kermit Webb officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home.
