March 5, 1946-May 7, 2002 – Marilyn N. Sherman, 56, of Ironton died Tuesday at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

The Pike County, Ky., native was born March 5, 1946, the daughter of the late Chester and Ruby Slone Daniels.

She was the wife of Pete Sherman, who survives.

The homemaker was a Protestant and she attended Coal Grove schools.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenny J. Sherman of Ironton, John R. and Tina Sherman of Rock Camp and Brandon Sherman at home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Joseph Fisher and Pamela and Ronnie Cremeans, all of South Point and Donna and Tom Jones of Greenup, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Mark Daniels and Chester Daniels, both of Ironton; and one sister, Trulagay Fletcher Daniels of Ironton.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Ice Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
