— Edward Jarvis, 63, of 1505 Karin St., Ironton, domestic violence Thursday by the Ironton Police Department.

Breaking and entering — 1800 block County Road 52, Kitts Hill, 4 p.m. Aug. 15, window of barn broken, weedeater, pressure washer taken.

Domestic violence — 1800 block County Road 31, Chesapeake, 7:47 p.m. Aug. 19, 15-year-old boy allegedly assaulted by adult brother, taken to hospital for stitches, negative contact with suspect.

Petty theft — 100 block Private Drive 411, Ironton, 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, gold necklace taken and pawned, victim found receipt, suspect named.

Escape, juvenile offences — Lawrence County Juvenile Center, State Route 93, 3:10 p.m. Thursday, female juvenile escaped from group home, located by sheriff’s deputy in nearby garage, transported back to facility.

Domestic violence — 80 block Township Road 1031, South Point, 8:05 p.m. Thursday, woman alleged husband hit her in the leg with a switch, Caleb Fry, 29, of 7704 County Road 1, South Point, arrested.

Criminal damaging, theft — Lake Vesuvius, Elizabeth Township, 8:45 p.m. Aug. 18, window of car broken into while parked at lake, purse and iPhone 4S stolen.

Aggravated burglary — 400 block Township Road 1053, Proctorville, 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, glass in backdoor broken, jewelry and medication stolen.

Theft, disrupting public service — Township Road 97, Windsor Township, 5 p.m. Tuesday, AT&T employee reported 700 feet of 50 pair phone cable stolen, disrupted service to about 35 customers.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 1430, South Point, 5 p.m. Thursday, Playstation 3 taken from apartment.
