The State Fire Marshall is investigating a Tuesday morning fire that caused heavy damage to a home owned by Shiela Garner, located at 4718 State Route 141 near Ironton. The Upper Township Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to the fire at approximately 5 a.m. this morning. The Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual aid. Further details about the fire were not available at press time, but the home is believed to be a total loss.
