HOUSTON (AP) – Jeff Bagwell and Lance Berkman hit consecutive home runs to lead the Houston Astros to a 6-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday night.

Wade Miller (6-1) gave up two runs, five hits and three walks in seven innings as Houston moved into a tie with St. Louis for first place in the NL Central.

Chris Reitsma (2-4) allowed four runs and seven hits in six innings. He struck out three.

Billy Wagner pitched the ninth for his 11th save in 12 chances.

Bagwell led off the sixth inning with his 11th homer of the season. Berkman followed with his 10th home run to make it 4-0. Both homers came on the first pitch from Reitsma.

Pokey Reese, Kelly Stinnett and Michael Tucker hit solo homers for the Reds.

The Astros scored three runs on sacrifice flies – two by Julio Lugo and one by Richard Hidalgo. Orlando Merced scored on a throwing error by shortstop Juan Castro in the seventh.

Notes: In the seventh inning, Reds LF Dmitri Young and SS Donnie Sadler collided on a pop fly by Orlando Merced. Young and Sadler both lay on the ground for several minutes and both had to leave the game. Young left the game with a bruised left knee and Sadler left the game with dizziness.

They are day to day … The Astros hit back-to-back homers for the second time this year. The first was when Berkman and Moises Alou did it May 2 against the Mets. … Astros have homered in a season-high 11 consecutive games.
