Trooper Chuck Knapp of the Ironton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates an accident scene on State Route 93 where a Kermit, W.Va. man was injured Wednesday. According to reports, Timothy S. Harper was involved in a one-vehicle accident on 93, just north of Pine Grove Road around 10:15 a.m. According to reports, Harper was travelling southbound on the highway when he drove his 1994 Buick Century off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree before his vehicle came to rest in a ditch. He was transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. where he was treated and released. Harper was charged with DUI, no operator’s license and failure to control.
